Accessibility Statement

1. The standard we work to

The site is built with the intention of meeting the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773-2013, and Israeli Standard IS 5568, which adopts WCAG 2.0 at level AA.

No external accessibility survey has been carried out and no certified service-accessibility consultant has signed off. We therefore do not claim full conformance — we describe what was done and what is missing.

2. What is already in place

• The site is Hebrew-first and right-to-left, with a layout that mirrors correctly in English without breaking reading order.
• Semantic structure: exactly one main heading per page, a correct heading hierarchy, and named page landmarks (header, navigation, main content, footer).
• A “skip to main content” link, first in the tab order on every page.
• The whole site is operable by keyboard alone: no focus traps, and the mobile drawer closes on Escape.
• One consistent, clearly visible focus indicator across the site — a black outline with a yellow halo — never suppressed on any component.
• Body and secondary text are shown at a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 against their background; the brand yellow is used as a background or highlight, never as text colour on a light surface.
• Every form field has a visible label — placeholders are never used as labels — and error messages are programmatically tied to the field that caused them.
• Images that carry information have alternative text; decorative images are hidden from screen readers so they add no noise.
• Charts on the markets pages are illustration only: every value also appears as text beside them, so no information is available from the picture alone.
• The site honours the “reduce motion” system preference and disables animation and transitions.
• Pages were checked at widths from 390 to 1440 pixels; there is no horizontal scrolling and the page can be zoomed without losing content.
• Touch targets on the mobile bar are at least 44 pixels.

3. What is not yet accessible enough

We would rather list the gaps than hide them:

• No comprehensive testing with screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver) across every user journey has been done.
• No accessibility coordinator has been appointed yet. Until one is, accessibility enquiries are handled directly at the address below.
• Some content exists in Hebrew only. In the English version of the site, certain sections show an empty state rather than translated content.
• There is no point-by-point keyboard navigation inside the charts themselves — the data is available as text beside them, but not within the graphic.
• The site is under active development. New sections may go live before their accessibility check is complete; we fix reports of that kind as a priority.

4. The service and how it is provided

BiziBiz is an online-only service. There is no branch, no public office and no telephone centre, so this statement covers the website alone.

All services on the site are free, and no service is available only through a channel that is not accessible.
