 The Core Issue :Total failure of a heavy-duty truck's primary service brakes. When this happens, the

driver is left with no effective way to stop, leading to catastrophic loss of life and economic damage.

 The Scale :Data from the FMCSA indicates that brake failure is a factor in an estimated 40,000 HDT

accidents annually in the U.S. alone.

 Amplified Risk :The danger is exponentially greater for trucks transporting hazardous materials

(Hazmat) ,where a single accident can cause an environmental disaster.

The Regulatory Gap: Why AEB is Not Enough

 Current regulations, including the IIJA mandate for Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) ,are a

vital step forward.

 The Critical Flaw :AEB systems are command systems. They rely 100% on the primary service

brakes to execute the stop .If the pneumatics or mechanics of the main brakes fail, AEB becomes

useless.

 This leaves a critical, unaddressed gap in the vehicle's safety chain.

I have invented a patent-pending, fully independent mechanical emergency braking system

designed specifically to close this gap.

systems.
